How e& National Day Data Offers Have Worked in Past Years
Before activating anything, I like to check who an offer is actually for and which year it belongs to. The news coverage of e&’s National Day (Eid Al Etihad) data gifts shows that the terms change from one year to the next, so the dates and eligibility in any older article, including the one above, should be confirmed against the current announcement.
What was reported for earlier years
| Year reported | Offer | Who was named as eligible |
|---|---|---|
| 2024 | 53GB of free local data, valid until 7 December | Emirati customers and postpaid subscribers |
| 2025 | 54GB of free local data, available from 1 to 7 December | All Emirati customers (postpaid and prepaid) and all postpaid customers |
These details come from Gulf News (published in late November 2024) and Khaleej Times (published 30 November 2025). Neither article explains the claim steps, so I would not rely on any step-by-step instructions that are not shown by e& itself.
Things to check before you rely on an offer
- The year and the amount. The data amount has followed the anniversary number in the reports above (53GB in 2024, 54GB in 2025), so a figure that does not fit the year is a reason to double-check.
- Your customer type. The reports above name Emirati customers and postpaid customers. A prepaid, non-Emirati user should not assume the same eligibility.
- The window. Both reports describe a short window ending on 7 December. Data offers like this are usually time-limited, so activate within the dates e& states.
- Where the announcement comes from. Look for e&’s own channels or an official notification to your number rather than forwarded messages or unknown links.
For current offers, open the e& website or app directly and look at the promotions section for your line type: e& UAE.

Etisalat is giving everyone 53GB of free data to mark the UAE’s 54th National Day. Activation of this offer simply requires the steps mentioned at the start of this article. Use your data only in the timeframe set out and look out for any suspicious or fake messages.
If you are an Emirati or postpaid subscriber, Etisalat has arranged for you to stay connected during the festivities.
